FunKey Junkie is a Dj, Songwriter, and Music Producer. Rooted in the sounds of the 1960s, he has developed a distinctive musical blend, drawing inspiration from Rhythm & Blues, Rock ‘n’ Roll, Soul, Funk, Blues, Gospel, Garage Rock, Surf Rock, Latin, Reggae, Ska, Balkan Brass, and other vintage genres — all reinterpreted through an old-school Hip Hop aesthetic.

As a musician and producer, he transforms vintage influences into a beat-driven sound. His productions combine original songwriting with reinterpretations, using DJ techniques such as sampling alongside live instruments, guitars, synthesizers, and organic sound design to create rich and textured sonic landscapes.

His discography consists entirely of original music — lyrics, composition, and production — as well as carefully crafted covers and reinterpretations, all built on a consistent vintage groove and hip hop-driven feel.

On stage, FunKey Junkie performs his original material live, delivering vocals over his own instrumental productions, blending live performance energy with studio-crafted beats.
